The renovation of The George represents a unique opportunity to rebuild and restore a 500-year-old Grade II listed pub which is environmentally friendly and where every effort will be made to adhere to a sustainable and ethical objective by reducing its carbon foot print.

The George will look to purchase from companies across the local brewing industry who continue to invest in innovation and efficiency particularly in the matter of water and energy reduction.

The George will endeavor to be a leading example of sustainability within the hospitality industry and will make every effort to adhere to environmental procedures and to ensure that all suppliers and providers are also environmentally sustainable whenever possible.
